Order Cancellation Policy
At Bownic, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your order. However, since our products are handmade and custom-created, cancellations are only allowed within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, cancellation is not possible as the production process for handmade items begins immediately.
If your order hasn't been dispatched and falls within the 24-hour window, you can cancel it by contacting our customer support team via email at support@bownic.com or call us at +91 6354 821678 (available Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM). Any money deducted will be refunded.
For orders that have already been dispatched or processed, cancellation is not possible. Please note that combo orders cannot be partially canceled – the entire order must be canceled.
Our store retains the right to initiate cancellation in certain exceptional cases. In such cases, we will reach out to notify you and initiate a 100% refund.
Returns & Exchange Policy
Since our products are handmade and crafted with care, we do not accept general returns. However, we provide replacements in the following cases:
- Damaged/Defective/Broken Products: If the product is received in a damaged or defective condition.
- Incorrect Items Delivered: If the product delivered is not what you ordered.
- Products Not as Described: If the product does not match the description or photo on our website, except for minor color variations. Please note that due to differences in screen displays, the actual product color may vary slightly from what you see on your phone or computer.
To process a return or replacement, we require:
- An unboxing video showing the Bownic seal intact.
- Clear images of any damage or defects.
- Your order ID and the original invoice.
We cannot accept returns for:
- Used or opened products.
- Items damaged due to customer handling.
- Products without original packaging or with removed tags/seals.
- Custom or personalized products that match the specifications provided.
For courier-related issues, we require an unboxing video, and we also provide a box packing video for verification purposes.
Replacement / Exchange Policy
We provide replacements or exchanges only in the case of incorrect items being delivered.
Replacement or exchange is not supported for:
- Damaged or defective products.
- Products with no variants in size or fitting, such as hair accessories or other non-size-based items.
- Minor color variations due to differences in screen displays.
To be eligible for a replacement or exchange:
- The item must be unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
- You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase, such as the order confirmation email or order ID.
To initiate a replacement or exchange, contact us at support@bownic.com. We will verify the issue and confirm the request. If approved, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a replacement or exchange will not be accepted.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be replaced or exchanged, such as:
- Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items).
- Hair accessories that are not defective or damaged.
